The Port Dickson House was officially recognized by GA of West Malaysia and Singapore during the ADC on 23 November 1997. The Prayer House evolved from the former PD Fellowship set up since 1982. It was a project initiated by the youths from the Setapak Fellowship of Kuala Lumpur at the request of the believers here. Church services which include Sabbath services and RE classes were conducted in members' house until the church moved into the present premise at the upper floor of a shop house at no. 10, Jalan Seremban, Taman Indah, Lukut, Port Dickson in July 1996. As the closest church to its vicinity, Seremban Church oversees the PD Prayer House. Like a young sister who receives many loves from her elderly siblings, the believers here received a lot of guidance from the believers from the churches in the Central Region. Many church ministers, brothers and sisters from Seremban, Kajang, Petaling Jaya, Cheras and Gombak Church come constantly to help in conducting Sabbath services, Holy Communions, RE lessons etc. It is the love of th believers that build up the PD Prayer House. Physically, Port Dickson is a small jetty town situated somewhere midway between Seremban and Malacca. She is a tourist spot famous for its stretch of beautiful beach and calm sea. With the soon to be completed Kuala Lumpur International Airport, this town is set to be more prosperous in tourism in the near future. As at late 1997, the total believers here numbered 31 comprising of 5 families. The believers here are looking forward to the setting up of proper RE classes effective from January 1998 onwards.
